Please get this at the airport. It is the best way to avoid wondering the city looking for a place to get it.
They may also offer a flip phone that can receive phone calls with a Korean phone number.
We will be using Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, and KakaoTalk to communicate with everyone as needed.

You will need cash to get this charged up and ready to use for Subways, Buses, Taxis, and also the Airport Limousine Buses.
Seven Eleven at the airport has these. If not getting it immediately, you can get it at a subway station in Seoul and from the dispenser machines.
